Relocating to a new site will enable Smart Works to transform even more women’s lives.
Since opening in 2019, Smart Works Leeds has delivered over 4900 appointments to women across Yorkshire, helping build their confidence ahead of embarking on their employment journey. As demand continued to rise, though, their former centre just couldn’t keep up. There was no waiting area, no dedicated space for group sessions, and staff were working in cramped conditions. They had completely outgrown the site, and without a more suitable home, their dreams could not have become a reality.
Seeing this situation unfold, Panda stepped in. By providing two 8yd skips free of charge, we supported the full clear-out of their site, generating over £440 in savings. It was a small part we could play, but one that helped Smart Works Leeds move into a larger, more comfortable space to continue their life-changing work.
Their beautiful new centre in Mabgate Mills will allow them to support up to 100 women each week, offer dedicated coaching spaces, and create a safe, welcoming environment for every woman who walks through their doors.
